3 out of 5 stars Not what I expected...   August 6, 2008
In an instant I decided to buy this new release of Filter's new venture. I sorry to say I was extremely dissapointed. It's a simi-great album, but not what I expected coming from Filter. Too many "Anthems" for me to enjoy it greatly, like I did "The Amalgamut." I miss the heavy guitars, the bass lines, the electronic drums, the effects of all the previous albums, et al. This album may stimulate some fans out there, or create new ones, but this will be the first single album from Filter I'll be putting at the bottom of my playlist. Save this kind of material for the side project. Noble effort, but it's just not what I wanted to hear.

5 out of 5 stars Thank you Filter   July 29, 2008

This is probably the biggest suprise album of 2008 so far (July). So i have been a casual filter fan for a long time, But this album is one that has been played more than another other so far this year! Why ? Because it is a great album all the way through. It is dark and political it is also very emotional and the song structure's are incredble! If you are any kinda of fan of this kind of music im sure you won't be disapointed at all!

5 out of 5 stars Filter is as wonderful as ever!   July 26, 2008

I'm so happy that Filter is back! I've listened to this new album a few times now, and I can feel the old "Filter thrill" is coming back. Listening makes my skin tingle, it's so good.

And thanks to this new album, I am rediscovering how wonderful the previous 3 Filter albums are. It's all good.

Keep it coming, Filter! Thanks for another great album!

1 out of 5 stars Sad, Sad, Sad   July 22, 2008

This is just really poorly written, some of the lyrics actually elicited laughs, and not just from me. Very substandard, the first Filter CD I can honestly say really s*cks. And I own every other one. Just listen to the first song (not the short Amazon clip) and you don't need to listen any further. Very Bad.
