Nice and soothing December 22, 2007 This has a good variety of artists so you get a nice mix of some beautiful flute music. Sometimes one artist can get a little redundant, so I liked the variety on this CD and would recommend it if you like this type of music.
No words to describe September 1, 2005 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
There are really no other proper words to describe the music on this CD other than to say THE BEST. Haunting, melodious, peaceful, and it brings you a step closer to nature regardless of whether you are sitting inside a room or in your car while listening to the CD. I've become a fan of the Native American culture ever since I heard their flute music for the first time. This CD is packed with melodious and haunting sounds of their flutes, the low frequency sounds of their drums which sound like thunder, and to top them all of with a good sprinkling of the chirping of birds and the shrieking sounds of the soaring eagles. The first song "Creator's Prayer" gives you an idea of what to expect in the rest of the CD. Simply the best. The more I listen to the CD, the more addicted I get to the subtle sounds of nature which I miss while leading a city life filled with highway noise, cop car sirens, and tv mumbo jumbos.
Wow! December 31, 2004 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
Absolutely beautiful! I just wish the CD was longer. The songs just carry me away to a peaceful place (especially the first one). I listen to it about every morning when I wake up; that's how good it is.
Trible Winds September 19, 2003 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This music is great. The best so far. I use it to metatate. I can close my eyes and picture my great-grand father as a child on the reservation and I can see a happy child in the yeay 1866.There isn't much out there to put me in a space of peace.
"THIS KNOWLEDGE WILL COME TO YOU..." February 13, 2002 32 out of 35 found this review helpful
You must be quiet to understand the beauty in this Treasure. Quiet inside yourself. Every inch of you, every cell, every fiber of your being. I have owned this a long time and haven't fully appreciated it until now. Why? Because I wasn't truly listening. To listen you must slow down, come to a stop, be calm and OPEN. Now and only now, can you Listen. Oh Yes. Eyes closed, mind empty of all thoughts and TRULY LISTENING...The music is very POWERFUL. Its power is so subtle that I didn't comprehend it at first. Now I do. The Indians deserve our respect. They are in touch with their Spirits. I leave you with a quote from "Wind In My Mind" which epitomizes the essence of TRIBAL WINDS: "I ONCE SAT ON A HILL AND AS I GAZED ACROSS THE LAND I HEARD A SONG ON THE WIND I TURNED AND WATCHED THE PRAIRIE GRASSES MOVE TO THE RHYTHM NOT JUST TO ONE SONG--BUT TO MANY AS I FOCUSED ON THE HORIZON I REALIZED I WAS HEARING THE SONGS OF ALL TIME I WAS LISTENING TO TRIBAL WINDS." Soar my friends. This will aid you in your journey. My Highest recommendation to the Seekers. TRIBAL WINDS is a FIND. SOARING HEART
