"Jesus, Take the Wheel," the hit first single, shows off the best of Underwood's power vocals, while the sexy rocker "We're Young and Beautiful" pulls her out of her ballad-heavy comfort zone, and her autobiographical "I Ain't in Checotah Anymore" bolsters her authenticity. If the young performer oversings on occasion (the overwrought bonus track, "Inside Your Heaven"), and settles for too many generic themes, she still surprises in her ability to go head-to-head with country's reigning females. This is awesome. Carrie Underwood is awesome. I love her music. I would recommed this CD to everyone that likes country music and maybe a few that dont. She is awesome.

Wow. Carrie's debut CD, Some Hearts, is an A+ debut. Every single track is great, a fact I can apply to hardly any other CDs. This is also one of the few CDs I actually own (not in digital form)- it's that good! Carnival Ride is pretty good as well, but Some Hearts is (so far) the best of Carrie's work.

This CD has a lot of Great Songs and Carrie Underwood sings them beautiful.America got it right choosing this wonderful songbird as their Idol.My Favorite song on this is "Don't Forget To Remember Me." It is such a real song when your children leave home for College or the Military Service or to start their own life you want them to remember not to forget you.But I don't know a bad song on the CD.I heard this was a good one so I had to get it.I got very good advise.

I have loved Carrie Underwood since she was on A.I. This is a great first album. She keeps getting better, I would buy her follow-up album as well. I love how genuine she is in real life and you can hear it in her voice. It's a must have album. Pop it in the radio, turn it up and sing-along!
