Bon Jovi is aiming to please everyone on this release. There are slow numbers with the ladies in mind and good rockers for the guys. The opening track, Work For The Working Man, and Brokenpromiseland are worthy additions to the Bon Jovi catalog and a few others may appeal to some. Maybe not one of their very top albums but the DVD is great and well worth watching. Personal insights and reflections from all of the aging band members as they try to shuffle family life with a life on the road.
The price is right and a must-have for fans.
Great melodies but still missing the "hard rock" November 19, 2009

A uniform album with "encouraging" lyrics and melodies. David Bryan and Richie Sambora got amazing musical arrangements; but still missing that great Jon's voice from Slippery When Wet and New Jersey albums. Bon Jovi is still on his way to give their fans that great "rock" sound.

I have been a Bon Jovi fan from the days of Runaway when I lived on the East Coast. I have followed their work all this time. This CD will not let anyone down in any way, shape or form. It again reiterates that this band IS the most successful band in the Universe, it rocks the core of everyday living, it puts the punch back into our breath and makes us all re-evaluate our lives and times. Not only do we have great music to listen to in this CD but we were blessed to have a video to boot! This CD is a MUST have.

When I first heard their new single, "We Weren't Born to Follow", I couldn't help feeling disillusioned for the first time, in a long time, in hopefulness of Bon Jovi's next album. I wasn't too delirious about the track and I expected the worst. Boy, was I wrong!
The Circle is emphatically a very fresh Bon Jovi, a Bon Jovi rebooted so to speak. The 12 songs are very nouveau and not as commercial as their previous albums from the year 2000 on. "We Weren't Born to Follow" however is NOT a testament to how great this album is. It feels like a compendium of epic soundtracks, the soundtrack of life that addresses reality through positivity.
There are some EPIC tunes here, arguably their best in a long time!

Bon Jovi has done it again! The guitars in this album are amazing, mad props to richie on the many guitar solos in the album. I feel that Superman tonight, which reminds me of an 80s power ballad will become the next Bon Jovi anthem. Overall many great songs in this album. Thorn in my side and We werent born to follow are two other classic Bon Jovi songs that fans will love.
