| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Jesse's new CD, THE RUMBA FOUNDATION, continues Jesse Cook's journey across time, space and sound. In the 1800s sailors traveled to Spain carrying a hot new rhythm from Cuba: Rumba. Gypsies took this infectious dance rhythm and created their own hybrid: "Rumba Flamenco." 150 years later, Jesse makes it a round trip by bringing Rumba Flamenco back to its roots, but modernized in what might be his strongest work yet. Jesse melds his trademark rumba flamenco style with the music of Cuba, Haiti and Columbia, among others. With all of the dazzling instru- mental pyrotechnics he employs, Jesse's emphasis is always on the melody and the infectious rhythms that make him an airplay favorite. Amidst all of his dazzling, soulful original compositions, Jesse adds as a special highlight a spectacular arrangement of Paul Simon's classic "Cecelia", an adaptation that is as creative and catchy as anything he's ever recorded.

Jesse's CD's Just Keep Getting Better and Better November 18, 2009 Michelle Buettner I cannot get Cecelia out of my head! This CD by Jesse Cook is fantastic! Classic Jesse with a bit of a twist this time! Definitely glad it's in my collection!
perfect! November 14, 2009 jessia (Chico, CA) I guess asking me for a review on my purchase is biased. There isn't anything J Cook has produced that I don't just love.
My husband and I will spend 2 days traveling to see this guy and spend a night's lodging (if he gets close enough).
All CD's are fantastic and seeing him live with his group is the treat of a lifetime.
Different from his other CD's but still very good! November 10, 2009 L. Rauter (CA / USA) I have most of his other CD's and love how each is different from the other. The Rumba Foundation doesn't disappoint... It's as lively and colorful as the rest. Makes you feel as you were touring with him through all the Latin countries.
Super talent November 8, 2009 Linda Dunkly (Chico, California United States) Jesse Cook is a virtuoso on the guitar. I had an opportunity to see him in person at Chico State University in California, and his CDs sold out quickly.
Very passionate! Very entertaining!
Best CD he has done so far November 4, 2009 Stephen P. Kulig I'am a fan of Jesse Cook enjoyed his other's but this is by far his best so far.He just keeps getting better.
