| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Comedian, actor, author, and banjo player Steve Martin releases his first musical recording since 1978's number 1 hit "King Tut." This is no novelty record though. It's some of the best banjo music to come down the pike in a long time. The Crow features able assistance from some of Steve's pals, including Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Earl Scruggs, Bela Fleck, Tim O'Brien and Mary Black. Martin wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on this album, creating a new body of work that will stand alongside the classics for years to come.

GOOD BANJO November 24, 2009 C. Peterson STEVE IS A FUNNY GUY BUT HE CAN PLAY A VERRRY GOOOD BANJO MR FAST FINGERS
Interesting November 20, 2009 James R. Miller (Alexandria, VA) I 've only listened to the CD once but I liked it. However, I don't think many people buy CDs with just banjo music. One thing I noticed is that some of the numbers seemed to sound a little Irish. I guess this was due to the backup instrumentation. In any case I will listen to it again.
Steve Martin - The Crow November 16, 2009 M. Alger (New York, NY) Steve Martin is a genius. Not only a great comedian, an actor, author and banjo player, but a superb song writer. A great album.
An amazing CD November 13, 2009 David M. Abell (St. Augustine, Fl) This has turned out to be one of my all time favoriate CD's and I only hope there is a follow-up. I was amazed with the variety between songs that all fit well with each other and the amount of talent that joined Mr. Martin in this collection. I loved there serious tones and words of his first song "Daddy Played the Banjo" that almost brought a tear to the eye that was followed up by the humor of his late to school cut. My wife is not into Bluegrass and she's turned out to love this CD as much as I have. Good job, it's been a long time since I've enjoyed and album as much as this.
Great Banjo!! November 7, 2009 RayRebel (MS, USA) I knew Steve Martin could play, but not like this! If you like banjo and/or Bluegress, you will love this!
