Well-known children's musician Laurie Berkner bursts onto the children's music video scene with the energy and enthusiasm of her concert stage appearances fully intact. The Laurie Berkner Band, comprised of Laurie Berkner on vocals and guitar, Brian Mueller on bass and vocals, and Susie Lampert on keyboard and vocals (joined sporadically by Bob Golden on drums and additional instruments), is an accomplished group of musicians who create and perform whimsical, catchy children's songs in a folksy rock style. From the playful rhymes that declare Tuesday "snooze day" in "I'm Gonna Catch You" to the absurd image of fish taking showers and brushing their teeth in "The Goldfish," Laurie Berkner's songs celebrate a child's love of the ridiculous. My little girl is emotional special needs and can become very with drawn or upset enough to be sick to her tummy. One day she saw Laurie Berkner on tv and really connected with the music. This dvd and cd has been a God send for us. When one of her episodes starts we pop in the cd or dvd and in an instant my little girl is where she needs to be emotionally. Thanks for allowing us to have such a wonderful tool in the house that is far better than any medication,
This is a fun wonderful DVD and CD. I highly reccomend this dvd/cd.

my son CANNOT get enough of this video!
i was a little disappointed that there were only 5 songs on the CD, but the DVD is absolutly crazy-fun! my son just gets so excited, and if you ever wanted your kid to not just watch something but to get all active at the same time, then this is the dvd for you :P my 3 year old runs and dances and sings and just like crazy! ;) its so much fun for him, and the songs are catchy and even fun for me and my husband to listen to and sing along with!

The only thing better than this video is seeing Laurie and company live in concert. (Do that if you ever get the chance, by the way..she puts on a very fun show.) I can guarantee that your child will love this video, and it won't get on your nerves either, which is an added bonus. Laurie has an amazing voice and this video is so cute. Buy many copies and give them as gifts. I have given so many and always gotten a rousing thank you from the kids and parents who have all become Laurie fans.
