Our Personal "Camelot" November 14, 2009 Alan Parham (Jackson, TN) We all have an ideal time in our lives symbolized by "Camelot." If we are reflective, we wonder how we ever let it go or left it behind or mucked it up to lose it. Yet those very memories can revive the possibility of recreation of a new "Camelot" in our lives. This could almost be a companion piece to "Brigadoon," another mystical place that we can go back to if we learn to love again.
Sountrack vs Broadway cast June 23, 2009 Michael Thomas (Australia) Being a huge Julie Andrews fan it is hard to be objective about the film and soundtract. 'My Fair Lady' as a film and soundtrack does not cut it for me, however 'Camelot' is a jewell in the crown for both Warner Bros and Lerner & Lowe. Richard Harris and Vanessa Redgrave are perfectly cast, and the words and music resonate to such a degree that the actors translate without being great singers like Andrews. I love this peice! And highly recommend the DVD and Soundtrack!
Makes the movie June 1, 2009 darkhorse86 (Toronto Canada) Without these songs, Camelot the film could have been a real snoozer. The song styles are of a wide variety, ranging from amusing, to morose, to triumphant so there is a little bit of everything. Comparing the vocals of this soundtrack to the Broadway version, the Broadway is better (Robert Goulet and Julie Andrews show up their counterparts for what they really are: amateurs) but you can still enjoy this one.

Camelot March 13, 2009 Anne (Hartford, Cheshire,UK) Camelot: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1967 Film)
I have loved this music since I saw the film in London in my twenties. It is only since being given an iPod Touch that it has occurred to me I can listen to all my favourite music and not just hope I heard it occasionally on the radio. Camelot was not listed on any of the download sites so I ordered it from the US, and since then have been carried away by the wonderful music and songs and the memories tied up in them. This is a truly lovely CD and I love the speaking/singing of Richard Harris which makes the songs so much more poignant. It's really music to wallow in and the only truly perfect version of these songs. How lovely and young we all were!Camelot: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1967 Film)
