Product Description From American Idol season six finalist. Sligh's willingness to challenge convention and to take creative risks is evident throughout "Running Back To You". Produced by Brown Bannister (Amy Grant, Aaron Neville, MercyMe, Steven Curtis Chapman), with guest co-production from renowned musicians Will Owsley and Stephen Leiweke, the project will evoke other artists of passion and commitment, from Switchfoot to The Killers.

Very good voice July 19, 2008 Chris Sleigh has a wonderful full voice. This CD is a good one to buy if you are a Christain. My only disappointment was that the music seemed too loud. More voice, less loud music would be nicer...but I still loved this CD...It is in my car and is very uplifting...What a wonderful talent this young man is and I hope he can make more CD's
The Perfect Debut Album! July 16, 2008 I honestly wish I had watched American Idol the year Chris was in it because I would have loved to see him perform live; however, by then I was so burned out on American Idol and really had had enough of the show and its exploits. That said, I am so thrilled that through American Idol God rose up another great talent. Even better was that a Christian label saw his worth too. Chris's debut album does not have a single weak point. His voice is so powerful and combined with the powerful lyrics you cannot help but feel close to the Lord when listening to his music.
I highly recommend this album to anyone who not only loves a great Christian album but also desires to feel close to the Lord.
Excellent vocals for a frizzy haired fat kid June 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm not trying to be disrespectful. This guy has a marvelous voice.
I am, however impressed with the vocals in spite of the fact that he was selected for American Idol.
On the show i really liked his tone, his voice, his range. He always did a great job and i was sorry to see him go.
i think we all agree Chris wasn't going to win American Idol--the judges would have taken care of that because he doesn't fit in the "box".
However we can all thank American Idol for introducing us and the world to his fabulous talent.

all amazing June 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this album on a whim because i know so many people who know Chris and I thought I'd check him out. I'm very picky about my music and I feel lucky if I find a CD with more than 4 tracks I actually listen to... I loved this CD. There is maybe one track that I skip, and overall it is one of the most creative I've ever heard, especially the mix for "Loaded Gun" which is amazing.
Great solo preformance!!! June 11, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Chris Sligh has done it! What a great album for the whole family. The songs, Arise, Cry Tonight, In a moment, and the single Empty Me...all are phenomenal! The whole album is fun to listen to and awe inspiring.
I agree with some of the other reviewers that many of these songs could be cross over hits...however Chris' faith permeates the album
If you want to hear some pre-Idol Chris Sligh with his great band Half Past Forever check out their album...it to is great to listen to.
