Scott, Dave, Rich, and Smitty--the Imagination Movers--make music that's as much for parents as kids. While their lyrics are aimed at the short set, their bouncy tunes evoke pop and funk acts like Smash Mouth, Devo, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (without any profanity or sexual innuendo). The first DVD from the New Orleans-based quartet, Stir It Up, features a heaping helping of material from both their CDs, Good Ideas and Calling All Movers. I have had this DVD for over a year. My kids (2 1/2 year old twins and 1 year old) still go nuts when they watch this. They will dance the entire time and attempt to sing. The songs are so full of energy and they are something the whole family can listen to. I just wish it was longer!

We bought this dvd for our two year old son and he absolutely loves it. He watches it everyday! We have all three cd's and he listens to them in the car each and every time we go somewhere! He has almost all the songs on the dvd memorized and we LOVE to hear him sing along!

The Imagination Movers are a rare breed in the world of child entertainment. It amuses children, and adults can actually like it too. I like the Rich, Scott, Dave, and Smitty's appearance, music, and messages. It's fun. Their videos are definitely produced on a low budget, but the Imagination Movers are charming and fun nonethless.

The Movers are great! Our daughter loves these guys! We took her to see them live at MGM Studios in Orlando and she had the greatest time dancing with them and then meeting them face to face. This DVD is a must have! It is our daugther's favorite. If you have never heard any of the Movers catchy songs, you will love them. Very creative and talented guys! Now we hear that they are going to have their own show on the Disney channel! We can't wait!
