Product Description STAINLESS STEEL TRAVEL TUMBLER,
Amazon.com Review This tumble offers easy-sip, no-spill commuting. Virtually unbreakable, this lightweight, vacuum-insulated thermos travels to work or your favorite recreation spot. On arrival, and for hours afterward, coffee, tea, or soup will still be hot. Or lemonade, iced tea, or a sports drink will still be chilled. It's compact (7-1/2 inches high) and handsome. A band of soft, nonslip black rubber encircles the tapered, satin-finish exterior, ensuring a firm grip. Top and bottom are black plastic. Fine threading ensures the twist top seals tightly, while the smooth interior cleans with sponge or cloth. Preheating or prechilling with hot or cold water is recommended. --Fred Brack

Get one if you want your coffee hot for few hours... November 19, 2009 Jin Cho (Portland, OR) Bought one about ten years ago, and although it does its job (insulating hot drinks for 2-3 hours at least), it took too much beating and needed to be replaced.
It does wonderful job of keeping my coffee hot in the morning, and it remains somewhat warm even after 4-5 hours...!
slow coffee drinker-not by choice just busy! November 16, 2009 Wendy R. Mooney (nc) Great for a coffee drinker that loves a hot cup of coffee but not enough time to drink it before it gets cold! This keeps it hot for at least 2 hours (probably longer, but by then I finally finished drinking it!)
I Finally Found Another One... November 13, 2009 Bruce B. Blair I have had one of the original Thermos Nissan tumblers, and have used it for years. The old one is finally wearing out, and I've been looking for a replacement. None of the other brands I found were as comfortable.
When I saw new ones for sale on Amazon, I was thrilled. I had thought that they weren't being made anymore. I'm very pleased to have a new one, and didn't throw the old one out. I put it away into "retirement," just in case I lose the new one.

I bought two and threw out the unused one also. November 13, 2009 Stephen Csicsek The slime that builds up around the inner inside plastic ring is horrible. I can't believe this mug is actually still on the market knowing the issue it has. Just take your thumb and apply pressure on the plastic ring and follow the ring around the inside. You'll be amazed at all the crap that comes out and doesn't seem to ever stop coming out.
I bought two, one never even used and threw them both out just thinking about all the germs that this mug creates.
I know Thormos can do much better.
Very Disappointing October 20, 2009 Jaiyla (Milwaukee, WI) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just received this thermos as a present from my boyfriend. He had it one day shipped because I was devastated that my old Target brand mug started to smell. I was very excited as I promptly received this item.
I just came from the sink to wash it out before I use it tomorrow. I tipped it over with the cover securely fastened. It leaked. A continuous stream leaks out when I turn the tumbler upside down. Now this is advertised as "This tumbler offers easy-sip, no-spill commuting." What a load of crap. I am beyond disappointed and the seller is going to get an e-mail from me. So much for one day shipping on an item that turned out to be a big disappointment. Not a good mug for a commuting student.
