Easy to use for sore and arthritic hands. Much easier to measure for recipes. Great product! I was pleasantly surprised to find it was all that had been advertised and even easier to use than I thought it would be. I would recomend this to anyone who has sore,weak, or arthritic hands. If it is that easy for me to use just think how easy it would be for someone without hand strength or grip issues.

This is an excellent product. I have had one for years that has given good service. So this is a replacement eventually things do wear out! I would recommend both the salt and the pepper mills.PepperMate Pepper Mill, White for salt and black for pepper.

I had been looking for a new grinder and my sister and brother-in-law have had this for several years and just raved about it. My daughter got it for me for X-mas. Great grind but the bottom won't stay on, very poor fit. Don't buy this unless you look it over very carefully first. 1/24/09 UPDATE. Contacted Peppermate and they said to return it and they would replace it. After two weeks I received a new one. Same story, poor fit on the bottom cover, just won't stay on. This is a real aggravation. DO NOT BUY THIS GRINDER.

this replaced a white one of the same brand and type, but whose plastic knob had broken after 10+ years of use. I repaired the old mill, but this one matched the kitchen colors and no other brand consistently ground all types of pepper and was as convenient to use. Great product.
