I bought the MIU electric peppermill to give as a gift for a friend who is a fabulous cook; I put batteries in it for her and included some top-end peppercorns. I also tested it out and was most impressed with its operation; the light is truly bright and helpful. My friend was thrilled to receive it, but, more important, keeps telling me how much she loves it. I have decided I must have one for myself, and plan to buy others to give as gifts. It's truly a marvelous device, and Amazon had the best price on it I could find. A huge success!

I loved this product when I received it for Christmas and up until the day that it broke. My husband accidentally knocked it over on the counter and it stopped working. I thought it was odd that it broke so easily, that I thought something must have been wrong with it before and so I purchased another one. Well, within 5 weeks the same thing happened and it stopped working.

I purchased the pepper mill for a gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it. Uses it on all meals where pepper is appropriate. All in all, it was well worth the price.

Very little grind adjustment. It completely failed after about a year. Since then I have discovered that Cook's Illustrated won't suggest any electric mill. Perhaps as us "Baby Boomers" get older and develop arthritis someone will build a really good electric pepper grinder.

I absolutely love this peppermill. I get so many compliments on it and now I buy it as a gift for everyone! It has a light feature and the grinder works impeccably. The only downfall would be it uses a lot of batteries (6 AAA) and they do run out pretty quick.
