I keep my bread machine flour in this container - I really like these containers and think I will buy more of them in different sizes. Good thing for Amazon.com - because I can't find these locally!

These containers are great. They are easy to clean, actually very nice looking and almost ideal for dry goods storage. My only gripe with them is that the packing crew at Amazon just throws them into a box. About two out of ten do not make it to the destination in one piece. So far I am down three, although, admittedly, Amazon has been very good a sending free replacements. If it were not for the breakage, I would give them five stars.
Great canisters; a little difficult to dry. November 3, 2009

I love these canisters and keep buying more. They're easy to use, keep food fresh, and look good. They come in lots of shapes and sizes, so they're useful for all sorts of purposes. I particularly like the smaller 0.9qt size - good for crackers, cookies, nuts and a variety of other things.
The only drawback is that the lids, which twist apart for washing, take a long time to dry out. There's no way to dry them with a towel because of all the holes in them, so you have to be patient and let them air out, giving them a shake every now and then to make sure the water is out.
It's a pain, but the advantages of these canisters far outweigh that drawback.

Yes, just like the potato chip, can't just have one. Aside from doing the job, storage, keeping items fresh they are ridiculously easy to use and pleasing to the eye.

The Oxo storage container is very high-quality, built well, and easy to use. I store coffee in it and stays fresh until gone. Excellent product design!
