These things leak! seriously, they can't handle the pressure from carbonated drinks. the concept was great, that's why i bought them, but practically, they aren't designed well enough. They are pure plastic, which means no real seals. Once you take a sip, you'll see that the soda will stilll be sitting along the edges that the bottle top connected to, these fluids will leak slowly and even faster if you close the cap. the pressure will build up and cause the soda sitting at the seams to be pushed out! luckily i only drink diet soda, i don't have to worry about it being sticky, but you will make a mess and it will be sticky.

I first saw these Snap Caps on a commercial and I liked the idea of them. These looked so much better then the caps I got at Bed Bath and Beyond, which had a lid the popped up instead of something that twisted off (they leaked, a lot).
Got them last night, washed and popped onto a can. Mine do leak, a very very small amount, but that is probably because I held it upside down to see how it would hold up under the pressure (the other product I used leaked like a sieve).
The 4 instead of 5 review is because I can see how the lid would be difficult for someone with weak hands to put on, and the teensy bit of leakage I noticed. Overall though, as long as I'm not chugging the drink down the tiny leaked soda doesn't even have time to drip onto me. The amount of drink that would be lost if the can was knocked over without the cap on (especially when driving over bumpy or winding roads) definately offsets any minor inconviences. I would buy again.

We couldn't use them. Very difficult to get on, even harder to get off. Apparently not dishwasher safe. Why bother? Don't.

I bought these at an ACE hardware store in Chincoteague, VA. They work very well. Three caveats:
1. Open the can before mounting the cap;
2. If you shake the capped soda, it will act just like a shaken can, so open carefully, away from stuff you want to keep dry;
3. The ACE guy taught me how to remove the cap when the can is empty. Just put the top on tight, and squeeze the can (away from stuff you want to keep dry.

My Dopey friend Keith talked me into getting these. He's to old to know how to order stuff from Amazon so I had to get them for him.
Got to say, I'm addicted to these! They work great! They even work on the smaller diameter energy drinks!
No spills or leaks. There is a small learning curve as to how to get them on and off as they fit tight.
5/5 STARS, Recommended.
