Silpat mat January 9, 2010 Bakery Nurse (Hahira, GA USA) love it, love it, love it. used it for the first serious time last night with fondant. It made it so much easir than using cornstarch. And you don't have that white powder to get off when finished. The large size is a big plus too.

Perfect Pastry Mat December 12, 2009 Emerald Coast I got this pastry mat in November, and it has become one of my very favourite kitchen gadgets.
It is so very much better than any of the others I have been using. The size is very generous........no more rolling to the edge and wishing you had started w/half the dough.
Once you put it down on the counter top, it does not move a hair. Doesn't matter if you are making your own puff pastry,
pie crust, yeast rolls or cookies.
Most things can be rolled without adding flour to the mat. I have only had to add flour to to the mat with really a soft cookie dough, and a delicate German pie crust.
I could never use any other mat. Definately a five star purchase.
Beautiful Pastry mat December 10, 2009 Maverick This pastry mat is a bit large, but works wonderfully! I roll out fresh bread every single day since i got this mat! and i dont end up wasting a lot of time for cleaning it. i am loving it.
My new favorite thing. December 2, 2009 T. Quinlan (Port Ludlow, WA) I love to make pies. But I have always dreaded the "roll out" when the time came. I either used a pastry cloth, marble, plastic mat with the guides (which never un-roll) or just the counter top with ALOT of flour. This is just a dream! It's so large and lays so flat and the amount of flour needed is minimal. Just a fantastic product.
