After countless purchases and returns to stores like Bed Bath & Beyond we've finally found a worthwhile peppermill. This is a great quality, great size, and (above all) flawlessly working mill. Our search is over! The mill is very easy to adjust and it maintins the adjustment. Set it and it stays on that setting. No more fatigue from twisting for what seems like hours in order to get a pinch of pepper. This thing is a real workhorse. I highly recommend. If you're frustrated like I have been for years, give this a try and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I purchased both the peppermill and salt mill. My husband, who is rather picky, even commented very positively. It looks great on the table, feels just right in my hand and grinds easily and well...what more can I ask for. I picked it because it has Mario Batali's name associated and it was a great choice!

It was a gift and the recipient loved it. She said it had the capacity to allow her to choose the grind and she liked that. She had had many before that she wasn't happy with. This one she really enjoys.

My fourth peppermill...this purchased according to previous reviews. I am completely satisfied with the transaction, shipping, and functionality of this product. It has a nice feel in the hand, smooth grinding mechanism, and very attractive product.

It took me ages to decide to finally buy a real pepper grinder and another two months to pick the "right" on out. First off, Walnut is a darker brown than the orange-y picture above makes it look. This grinder is attractive, easy to get a good grip on and efficient. I've been using it for 6 months with no problems at all. Very happy with this purchase!
