| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Inspired by 19th-century botanical illustrations, Portmeirion Botanic Garden dinnerware features a lush array of hand-painted blossoms and butterflies. The pieces are perfect for a mix-and-match sensibility and suitable for year-round dining. Made in Britain from high-quality porcelain, they are safe in the oven, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. Thanks to their versatile shape and gorgeous illustrations, these Botanic Garden plates are tirelessly lovely from the salad course to the dessert. Each piece features a modified coupe design with a moderately deep center and a laurel-trimmed slanted rim. The central images are large and detailed with a different flower on each plate and a generous array of butterflies. The flowers are also labeled with their Latin and common names. The set include six plates and features a hyacinth, a lilac, a lily, a dog rose, a Sweet William, and a treasure flower. The plates measure 8-1/2 inches in diameter. --Emily Bedard

| Customer Reviews: Great dinnerware!! September 9, 2009 Walter L. Beasley (Millersville, PA) I saw this dinnerware at a friends home and had to get a set. It is very sophisticated, but study and works great as an everyday set. The condition and quality are first rate. These are made in Britain (not like some I've read reviews, which say they can come from China. These plates have some heft to them, too!! The price was very competitive. Bon appetit!!
Broken item July 11, 2009 Yong S. Yi Item was improperly packed for shipment.
Item arrived broken and caused injury(cuts on hands and fingers) during opening.
Long-time Portmeirion Botanic customer January 7, 2009 Benjamin Slivka (Clyde Hill, WA USA) We bought our first PMB plates and dishes 15+ years ago, and they've been beautiful and durable and quite sturdy (other than dropping them on stone or tile floors ;-). But after 10 years of daily use, the decorations do fade, and so we replaced them. PMB are not inexpensive, but for the value they are actually quite reasonably priced.
Portmeirion Botanic Garden Dishes December 27, 2008 JS (La Jolla, CA) I ordered these to match an existing set I had. They arrived quickly and in perfect shape.
