Yellow gold would be a much better setting for this stone. Not many gemstone jewelry is offered in yellow gold anymore.

OK, of course I would not buy this for my self, I gave it to my girlfriend, and she loves it. She kept it on for the first like 6 days. It is really great quality, picture doesn't give it credit, the opal is beautiful, I cant say anything bad about it.
