 Not the Deal I Expected July 22, 2010

I'm VERY disappointed in this so-called deal. I ordered the special buy 3 50oz bottles get one free. The free bottle was only a 16oz bottle. Hardly the deal I was expecting! Amazon.com should have been more clear that the free bottle was a much smaller value. I feel cheated.

I use this with Hoover Platinum Collection Professional-Strength Carpet-and-Upholstery Detergent and it does an excellent job of getting rid of the dirt, soda, strawberry, coffee, pet and other stains from the carpet. Pretty good quality detergent but a little pricey and that's the only reason for the 4 stars otherwise I'd give it a 5 star rating.

I purchased this "Pet Plus" carpet and upholstery cleaner at the recommendation of the Hoover Steam Cleaner people. It really does a wonderful job eliminating pet stains. I've used it several times now in the last month, and with some exceptions (the stains were more than a year old) the cleaner did a fine job. In the case of older stains, this cleaner did a great job of significantly reducing the discoloration of pet urine stains (all of which I treated immediately after the "accident" with a pet stain enzyme treatment). Overall, I am delighted with this product!

The Hoover Platinum Carpet Cleaning fluid works well with the Hoover Platinum Carpet Cleaner. The cleaner does work as described and keeps my carpets fresh and durable. The only drawback is the carpet cleaning fluid is expensive. If one does not use this with the Hoover Platinum Carpet Cleaner you risk damaging your Hoover carpet cleaner. The Hoover Carpet cleaning fluid was specifically made for this cleaner and highly recommend not using any other cleaning fluid.
