 Giving Me Razor Burn March 19, 2010

I have been a loyal Norelco user for many years. However, this is the first one I've owned that has irritated my skin. I don't think the exterior metal is as smooth as it once was. I can make a direct comparison because my older Norelco just feels smoother. I've given lots of time for my skin to adjust to the new one, but I need to replace this one. Also, Norelco really needs to put a low-battery indicator on this model.

I ordered a Norelco 7340 Men's Shaving System from them and they mailed me a Black & Decker Waffle Iron. I was told to reship the waffle iron, which they would cover, and then they would reship the shaver. I spent $27 shipping the waffle iron - they never shipped the shaver, but they did refund the original cost for it. I lost $27 to ship them a product I never ordered. How wonderful.

I amm very pleased with this product and the price. The only thing i don't like is there isn''t a battery level indicator. But no problem, i just remember when i charged it last.

I usually like recent Philips electronics but disappointed with this item. The problem is the cutting power is very poor. My previous electronic shaver was Browns. It did not take more than 3 minutes to finish the job but was very noisy and I decided to shop a quiet model. This Novelco is very quiet but takes more than 5 minutes to finish the job and the job is not good. The battery life is good but does not seem strong enough. I tried using A/C power but still shaving was not good.
In summary, this unit needs more shaving ability. The size is also pretty big and weight is not light.Philips Norelco 7340 Men's Shaving System

This Norelco replaces my last one whose battery gave way after years of service. I was surprised with how much lighter the new razor is, and -- unlike the last one -- will work with a cord even when the battery needs charging. I also like the smaller size of the charging gizmo. The Norelco gives a clean shave and is comfortable to hold.
