We had a good experience with this chair! July 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's funny how people generally are only inclined to write really bad reviews or really good ones. Well thousands of this chair have been sold and 4 people have written a bad review. I would guess they had received a defective product - out of thousands of this product as with any product there will be defective items here and there. I'm writing to say, we bought this chair and had no problems with it deflating at all, for months now!
Very disappointed July 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This chair is the poorest, cheapest product I have ever purchased. When we took it out of the package and blew it up, it had a hole in the back. We fixed it and my 2 year old loved it. Then a day later, another hole appeared, then another. I like the idea someone else had about stuffing it with the foam peanuts. Just today we patched the 4th hole and we have only had it for a week. Don't buy this product!!!!
My husband stuffed the chair! March 22, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
My two year old son got this chair for Christmas and was very excited. We blew it up but by the next day it was completely deflated. Not wanting to throw away his favorite chair my husband got the great idea of stuffing it with packing peanuts. He sliced the bottom of the chair stuffed it with the packing peanuts (slicing away the chambers) and sealing it with packing tape on the bottom seams. I must say it has worked and my son still has his thinking chair albeit a little lumpy. So if you own this chair stuff it!
Huge Disappointment December 30, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought this for my nephew and he was so excited to get it. We blew it up to realize that it had two holes in it. We have tired to fix it,but I am so upset. We ordered it from target and I figured that it was new, but guess not.
Not a good purchase! December 26, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Wanted zero stars - wasn't allowed! Before purchasing the "Thinking Chair" for my three-year-old son for Christmas, I had purchased the "Blue's Clue's Silly Seat". The latter deflated shortly after purchase and so I purchased yet another, as my son really wanted his chair!! : ) This one, too, deflated shortly after purchase. Fifty some dollars down the drain. I took a chance on the "Thinking Chair" because that's ALL my son asked for for Christmas - he wanted the "Coo-Coo" chair, but after much research, I found that they no longer make this. Surprise, surprise!! Anyway, I assumed that this, too, would deflate eventually, BUT I had no idea that it would deflate on the very day we opened it - Christmas day, nonetheless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These chairs are made so cheaply and are NOT worth the money - it's so disappointing, especially when your young child does not understand why it "broke" and can't be fixed. Ridiculous, truly. I don't understand how the makers of this chair can take peoples' money, knowing that they're giving a worthless and faulty product in return. Sad, really.
