Great Mattress! August 14, 2008
I bought this futon not knowing what to expect from a futon with springs. I was also nervous because buying mattresses is subjective, but the price was so good I decided to give it a try. Wow! It is at least 8.5 inches thick, and the most comfortable futon I have ever had. We find it easy to convert from bed to couch, and don't even feel the springs inside. It arrived within a couple of days, and was shipped securely and quickly. I highly recommend this futon!

This futon is not actually 8-9 inches as described, but it is a good 6 inches and very comfortable. We use it as a couch most of the time. It is very easy to fold it into the couch position. In fact, I think it's easier to fold than the old, regular (non-innerspring) futon mattress we replaced when we bought this.
It is pretty soft, so if you're looking for something very firm, this isn't it. I think people who aren't used to sleeping on futons will probably find it more comfortable than regular futons. And it's certainly very comfortable for sitting on. We can't feel the bars of the frame of the couch anymore!

This Futon Mattress is sooooo comfortable. The Innersprings are just incredibly comfortable and flexible for bending into the futon couch position. This was a great deal at that price! Buy with confidence
