With the Panasonic answering system, you'll never miss important calls, even when the ringer is off. The integrated light-up indicator featured at the base of the handset's antenna will flash quickly when an incoming call is in progress, and will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. Should you choose to expand the answering system to include additional handsets, each handset can be programmed to ring or simply flash at your discretion. The system is compatible with up to three additional handsets (for a total of four).

In addition to the standard call waiting feature, this system comes with call waiting caller ID2, a feature that allows you to see who's calling you if you're already taking a call.
