Customer Reviews: Works, cord is too shortNovember 20, 2009 KMB The adapter is working fine, but the cord from the adapter to the laptop is very short. I have to put the adapter on my desk or leave it hanging off the floor (not a good situation).
For the price it would be 5 starts if the cord were a decent length.
it works!!!November 13, 2009 J. Chatman I just received my adapter and it works perfectly, no need for juggling the wire, nor adjusting it. I just plug it in and it works. i was a little skeptical about it, since the last two reviews said it messed up on them, but it works perfectly.

I was very upset when I received this item. I plugged it in and "surprise" it did not work. I tried multiple outlets it still did not work. Not to mention it arrived late. DISATIFIED CUSTOMER. I will return it for A TOTAL REFUND.

This item is OK. You have to wiggle the cord around for your computer to recognize its hooked up to the battery. The cord will lose its place easily, so you will have to make sure its in a good position. For around $20, its a lot cheaper than the DELL adapters, but the quality is a bit lower too.
