Product Description The Eton American Red Cross FR150 Microlink AM/FM/NOAA weather radio is an ultra-portable device that's ideal to have on hand when you're roughing it. There are no plugs or wires required. Instead, turn the hand crank to power the built-in rechargeable batteries, or capture the sun's energy and run it on solar power. You'll always know what's going on, thanks to the AM, FM, and weather bands.

Awesome product November 20, 2009 C. Sicard (Lawrence, MA United States) A great emergency radio. I love it. Even has a good solar charger on it. With the accessory cables for a cell it works brilliantly. Highly recommend it!
American Red Cross FR150 Microlink Solar-Powered, Self-Powered AM/FM/Weatherband Portable Radio with Flashlight and Cell Phone C November 16, 2009 Geoffrey S. Jones (Bennington, VT USA) Good Reception, of AM, FM, and Weather Band, plus USB cell charging,
Great flashlight too. Excellent survival Gear.
Everyone on my Christmas list is getting one this year! November 8, 2009 V. R. Pierson III (Hollywood, FL USA) I purchased this product two years ago and not a month goes by I don't use it. Living in South Florida, storms crop up all the time. A minute of cranking and setting it on the NOAA station, I am immediately informed as to what is going on and what to expect. The reception inside my house is wonderful. I use it as my main radio in the house. I use the strap to hang this radio/flashlight on my kitchen wall next to the light switch making it very handy, as we have frequent power outages.
Please remember also, that this was produced with the Red Cross and includes a $.49-$1 being contributed to the American Red Cross with each sale. There is also an "Eco Edition" model that a contribution is made to OhRanger.com, that supports our National Parks. For more information on these contributions, you can go to: [...]
OMG perfect October 9, 2009 J. Clary (Louisville, KY United States) The sound quality may not be the best but solar powerd, hand cranked, am/fm/ weatherband radio, flashlight and cell phone charger is required for emergencies. Most suprising to me was within 2 weeks of registering at thier site, they sent me an adapter for my Env Touch, and this phone has a really rare input jack, even the Energizer To Go products don't fit , wow!
Prepared for Hurricanes and Power Outages! October 4, 2009 Gentle Deer Lion Tamer (Houston, Texas, USA) Highly recommend this item. It is small, but built well, and "feels" well. The crank is very solid, and works great. Easy to charge. This item is a must for home/car and boat. If you camp, you need this. When Hurricane Ike hit us head on last year, we had to rely on batteries... for our little radio. We where without power for over two weeks... batteries where unheard of when you went to the store, as all the shelves were empty as there was no transport. Consider this for even thunderstorm outages and snow outages. The light works great and the solar panel works even with just indirect lighting. The option to charge the cell phone is wonderful, however, we had no cell coverage during the outage of Hurricane Ike.
