Customer Reviews: Better off buying a real Sony made product - not an aftermarket September 7, 2009 M. Lange (Manahawkin, NJ) Although this cord does charge our handycam, the plug is a bit loose and doesn't always stay in the recorder. We have found it has come loose many times after thinking the device was sufficiently charged - not good when you want to use the recorder for a special occasion only to have it not fully charged. It's very light in comparison to the original and appears to be an aftermarket/second rate product. I guess you get what you pay for.
