It handles not only your DVD-Videos (both NTSC- and PAL-formatted discs, depending on your TV), but it plays your music, too--everything from standard CDs to home-burned CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and MP3-encoded CDs. Further, you can load a disc brimming with digital photos for custom slide shows in the comfort of your home theater. An onscreen display simplifies setup and operation, and the unit comes with a compact, full-function remote control.  Great cheap player September 2, 2008
this is a second player i bought. I owe 1 and just bought 2nd one for my parents. had no problems. its cheap and works great if you need to play ntsc or pal dvds
 Broken so easily September 1, 2008
I bought this DVD player in late May and was away for the summer. I started using it two weeks ago, probably 3 to 4 times till now. I haven't been able to played any DVDs since last night. This really sucks!

 Simple, Inexpensive but quality unit August 27, 2008
I was looking for a simple DVD player primarily for watching movies and space was limited in my entertainment center. This unit is small, easy to install and very simple to operate. Picture quality is excellent for a DVD player in this price range.
Complete waste of money August 26, 2008
Worked for 1-2 weeks, after that it stopped working. The unit started humming and discs wouldn't play anymore. Complete waste of your time and money. Invest your money into something that works.
