Decent inexpensive camera August 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this for my 9 year old daughter and it seems to be a good value. Had some trouble getting it to power up at one point and found that it didn't work well on regular alkaline AA batteries and had to get Kodak's batteries. Overall a good lower end camera.
Great for fun camera August 21, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought it for a gift. It is fun and easy camera especially if you have the Kodak printer. Image is not that great but if you want to use it as fun camera, it is perfect.
Cheap August 17, 2008 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
For $80, I got what I paid for. I should have spent a bit more for a nicer camera. If you're buying this for a teen, it's great, for serious pictures, buy something else. It only turns on when it wants to.
A Great Point & Shoot Camera!!! July 24, 2008 27 out of 27 found this review helpful
As with all gift purchases I had to take this baby for a test drive before I wrapped it up. Amazingly the photos are crystal clear. Resolution is perfect. The built in stabilizer helped compensate for the windy day. One photo from the series of shots that I had taken was enlarged to 11" x 14" format. All I can say is, pixel perfect. One sweet feature that surprised me was the digital zoom. It enhanced each and every photo without sacrificing pixels. Unless the user requires photo enlargements over 11" x 14" on a regular basis, 7 mega-pixels is more then enough for the average camera enthusiast. As with all electronics, I strongly recommend that only top of the line batteries be used. Never operate gear with "no name" batteries. That includes the generic batteries that come with this camera. As a professional photographer I remain impressed with the Kodak C713 Camera. I would highly recommend this camera to everyone that wants great quality photos without spending the extra bucks on a big ticket digital system.
