This is actually the second riser I own. It is perfect for me because I work from home and drink water all day and have lost count of how many times I have spilled my water. The cupholder takes care of that problem. I have my reference books under the riser so they are at my fingertips and I do not need to take up extra desk space. I use the CD holder for storage of my hand lotion, lip balm and gum that I use all day while I am working (average 8-10 hours per day).
Great for relieving neck pain! June 16, 2008
I never knew that the logo on my monitor should be at my eye level! I purchased this stand after having to go to the doctor for neck pain. It raises my computer monitor to a good height and my neck pain is gone! I've recommended this to others to help them.

This riser was exactly what we needed. Delivery was within 5 days although it came slightly damaged on the corner. Plenty of room on the riser. Love the beverage holder. The only disadvantage is that the cup holder and cd holder gets in the way if you want to turn your monitor for others to see.
Sturdy and great for monitor adjustment March 20, 2007
It's a wonderful item that includes a place for your drink and for your CD's. It has a drawer and your key board can slide right in under it. I am very impressed with the weight limit.
