Product Description Universal Bourne Ultimatum - HD-DVD/DVD Combo Matt Damon is back as Jason Bourne for the latest installmentof this smart, action-packed espionage series as he finally learns the truth behind his mysterious past. Bourne (Damon) is now pitted against a new generation of highly-trained assassins as well as the relentless CIA operatives who will stop at nothing to prevent him from learning his true identity. Delivering signature Bourne fight and chase sequences, "The Bourne Ultimatum" is the ultimate action thriller.
Amazon.com The often breathtaking, final installment in the Bourne trilogy finds the titular assassin with no memory closing in on his past, finally answering his own questions about his real identity and how he came to be a seemingly unstoppable killing machine. Matt Damon returns for another intensely physical performance as Jason Bourne, the rogue operative at war with the CIA, which made him who and what he is and managed to kill his girlfriend in the series' second film, The Bourne Supremacy. Now looking for payback, Bourne goes in search for the renegade chief of CIA operations in Europe and North Africa, partnering for a time with a mysterious woman from his past (Julia Stiles) and constantly--constantly--on the run from assassins, intelligence foot soldiers, and cops. Directed by Paul Greengrass (United 93) with the director's thrilling, trademark textures and shaky, documentary style, The Bourne Ultimatum is largely a succession of action scenes that reveal a lot about the story's characters while they're under duress. Joan Allen, Albert Finney, David Strathairn, Scott Glenn, and Paddy Considine comprise the film's terrific supporting cast, and the well-traveled movie leads viewers through Turin, Madrid, Tangiers, Paris, London, and New York. Overall, this is a satisfying conclusion to Bourne's exciting and protracted mystery. --Tom Keogh

Amazon.com An abundance of bonus features are included on both the standard DVD and high definition DVD formats. The 24-minute "Man on the Move: Jason Bourne" featurette follows Matt Damon and the entire movie-making crew on location around the globe through Berlin, Paris, London, Madrid, and Tangier with lots of commentary from producers Patrick Crowley and Paul Sandberg, actor Matt Damon, stuntmen, and a host of others involved in the film. What comes across loud and clear are the immense logistical difficulties involved in such an ambitious film like filming in London's Waterloo station, one of the world's busiest and most crowded train stations, making cold bare Berlin match snowy Moscow where The Bourne Supremacy ended and The Bourne Ultimatum begins, working around the clock in Madrid, and virtually closing off the main square of Tangier for days at a time. The "Rooftop Pursuit" feature provides an in-depth look at the amazing stunt and camera work involved in shooting the intense Tangier rooftop pursuit while "Planning the Punches" explores the martial arts training and special breakaway props utilized throughout the many fight scenes in the film. Matt Damon's gleeful participation in the New York chase scene is highlighted in the "Driving School" feature and the immense logistics of filming a car chase in New York are explored in "New York Chase." Commentary for the entire film is provided by director Paul Greengrass and 12-minutes of deleted scenes are also included. The HDDVD also includes a "Be Bourne Spy Training" aptitude test in which viewers watch 20 clips from the movie and are tested on their observation skills--connecting to the internet allows viewers to download their results directly to their HD DVD player. The "U Control" picture in picture option allows viewers to access cast and crew interviews and behind-the-scenes footage including excerpts from most of the aforementioned bonus features without leaving the movie, providing a rich, in-depth explanation of a multitude of important plot points. Viewers can also access the Blackbriar files while watching the film for additional detailed information about the characters, locations, and spy gadgets--a feature which adds a whole new level of understanding and meaning to the viewing experience. Car enthusiasts will enjoy pulling up technical information about the Volkswagen Touareg featured in the film's chase sequence and connecting to the download center for even more information on this featured vehicle. Viewers can also bookmark their favorite scenes for repeated watching. --Tami Horiuchi

the end is so lame. all about evil americans killing people under the guise of saving lives. excuse me while i vomit.
and they brought the bad cia people to justice. yep. turned them over to a congressional committee! now al qaeda can sleep peacefully, knowing they will never be tortured or executed.
it is for chicks and leftists, and it is ripoff if you pay to see it.
THERE'S A NEW "JB" IN TOWN AND IT'S NOT JAMES BOND! August 25, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The Bourne series is more like an installment than three separate films, but I will say they don't disappoint! This is another solid, smart action film with our new hero doing what he does best!.......outsmarting and out fighting his enemies every step of the way. This installment leaves the door open for yet another sequel!......This could go on as long as the Bond series! The DVD has a great transfer.
Get some sleep, Pam. You look tired August 20, 2008 Matt Damon is superb in the third Bourne film and I hope there's a fourth. Some of the best stunt and fight work I've seen in years. The intrigue keeps you on the edge of your seat (okay, my couch...) and is worth the nail chewing. Buy it!
What is not to love? August 19, 2008 Great movie! You must watch the other two. He is such a wonderful actor. The movie is action packed and suspenseful.

I even though that it was defective and sent it back for another one and the new didn't work either. I so PO I was ready to just give up...until I came across the person who said that using the XBOX 360 HD DVD drive just press OK on the remote and it should work. It can't be that simple right....well I tried it and worked perfectly, so I wacthed the movie again in HD this time and enjoyed every minute of it!!!! Thank's for the help and I hope this may help someone else.
