Amazon.com Whatever you do, don't confuse this Jack Frost with the 1997 comedic horror flick of the same name (its tagline: "He's chillin... and killin'"). This family film stars Michael Keaton as Jack Frost, an aspiring musician, loving husband, and occasionally absent father. Frost's life is unexpectedly cut short by a car accident, and a year after his death he comes back as--you guessed it--a snowman, to help his family heal (Kelly Preston and Joseph Cross as wife and son Gabby and Charlie, respectively). The sudden death may affect sensitive younger viewers, but by the time Frost returns the movie is more light-hearted, and the film's message is a worthy one. There's an underlying theme that supports independence, and Gabby isn't saddled with a new dude by the film's end. There's also a good rapport developed between father and son, and especially mother and son. If an audience can take that huge leap of faith to accept the premise (as youthful audiences will no doubt be able to do), this is entertaining family fare. --N.F. Mendoza

Jack Frost February 4, 2010 Laura Shockley (Cartersville, Georgia USA) I am a big fan of Michael Keaton. This is an awesome movie that I really enjoy watching over and over.
Jack Frost January 31, 2010 Lesacan (Salt Lake City, UT USA) This is a wonderful story of a young man learning that there is more than our physical connections to loved ones. He learns hope and increased determination, creativity and learns to listen to his heart.
Great story.
Jack Frost January 27, 2010 dragonsfire (Grass Valley,CA USA) I love the xmas feeling of the snowman even tho he represents the boys dead father.
love this movie January 26, 2010 matts mom (lake villa, illinois United States) This is my all time favorite movie! I actually bought this one for my niece as a 4th birthday gift. Once I have seen a movie, that's normally enough for me, but this is one movie I could watch everyday. There aren't too many movies that will make you laugh & cry. This is such a fun movie. The way it's written, you immediately fall in love with Jack & his family. They do a great job of portraying the love a father & son have for each other. It's a must see!!
