This product does exactly what I expected it to do. It is compact, has good resolution, and satisfactory controls. A very good replaement monitor.

When our monitor died and we weren't ready to purchase an entirely new desktop I went looking for an inexpensive monitor to replace the original. I finally chose the Q1859. I have to say that the picture quality is pretty decent for this price point, but the sound quality from the speakers is poor. I was excited about the possibility of not having separate speakers on the desk, but it looks like I'll have to purchase some external speakers if I want to listen to music or movies.

It was easy to set-up, it was easy to install, it was visually pleasing and it was at a affordable price. Although, there is one flaw to this monitor and that is the integrated speakers.
I would have difficulties hearing sounds from the speakers. I have tried resolving that problem through recommended solutions on the web; however after countless hours, I have given up.
In conclusion, I would suggest to those people who are looking for a monitor with decent integrated speakers to skip this product; however if you don't care for integrated speakers, I would recommend this. 3.6/5
 2 defective, poor resolution October 28, 2009

Received two new monitors, each were defective in different ways. Attempted to deal with 2nd item, but resolution was not good enough to make me overlook the faults.
Amazon was FANTASTIC in handling the returns/refunds.
