Just had this monitor for a day, but I can already see it's a huge improvement over the Samsung Syncmaster 17 I was using before. The image is very clear and bright, and seems easier on the eyes. I'm using it in the native 1440x900 mode. (Other mode choices that are not 1.6:1 produce a stretched or narrowed image.) One point that's not obvious, unless you read the instructions on the CD, lol, is that you need to press the autoset button after changing modes, to sync the monitor up to the signal, otherwise it's a little off. Picture looks excellent for text, graphics, and video. I'm not a game player, so haven't tried that.

This monitor from LG is the best I've had. The picture is more clear and bright than my HDTV. On screen adjustments are easily made, and the cd that comes with it has a full instruction manual. Got it on sale at Best Buy for under $200, making it a GREAT deal!! I recommend this monitor highly.
