Product Description This motherboard supports Intel Core 2 processors in LGA775 package. It also can support Intel 45nm multi-core CPU.ATI's CrossFireX boosts image quality along with rendering speed, eliminating the need to scale down screen resolutions to get the high image quality you want. CrossFire ignites with the higher antialiasing, anisotropic filtering, shading, and texture settings you desire. Adjust your display configurations, experiment with your advanced 3D settings, and check the effect with a real-time 3D-rendered preview within ATI's Catalyst control center to rule your CrossFireX system.

| Customer Reviews:
Great motherboard when it works September 7, 2008 I bought this motherboard and a day after it got shipped I started finding pieces of info around the net stating it had numerous issues. "Just great" I thought. After receiving and installing the motherboard, fired up right on first try. Flashed to the latest BIOS at that time, 1201 (beta BIOS), and hasn't given me a single problem. I've yet to encounter a single issue that's been reported around the net (inaccurate temperature monitor, instability, memory compatibility issues, etc), which I can't explain. I find it very strange to see such variable performance from user to user. Some hate it, others, love it. Some can use latest beta BIOS, some can't. If, however, the motherboard works as I have it, it's an incredible buy. 1600MHz+ FSB is an easy target, design and layout could not be better, and software support/features is amazing. Asus has released around 3 BIOSes in less than two months, every single one fixing something different, or improving the whole. Other than those: -very fast -feature pack without having to dish out $200+ (RAID, dual LAN, very efficient passive cooling, CrossfireX, great software features, excellent BIOS...) -highly OCable if working as it should
For the record, I'm using OCZ Platinum Rev. 2 RAM with it. 0 issues. I'm overall very happy with this motherboard. Minus One star for the strange variations within all the buyers.
