Product Description
Sasha Trudeau considers herself a soldier first and a werewolf second. But while her secret government-sanctioned task-force faces its greatest challenge so far, Sasha faces something much more primal: the undeniable pull of the moon—and her own desires. With rogue wolves savaging both the human and paranormal worlds, Sasha’s team of elite operatives has one job: destroy the rogues and isolate the deadly toxin that’s poisoned their blood. But the challenge is far more complicated than Sasha could have imagined. Soon she is thrust into a full-scale supernatural war for supremacy—and the only man left who Sasha can turn to might be the biggest danger to her of all. . .and in more ways than one.

Worth Reading November 30, 2008 I love the Vampire Huntress Series and was somewhat delaying the read of this series. However, I found these books extremely engrossing just like the VHL ones. I bought Bad Blood on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and finished it on Thursday. I immediately went out on Black Friday to get Bite the Bullet and finished it on Saturday. Enough Said!

Sasha is back and better than ever! November 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Sasha Trudeau, Special Ops and genetically created Shadow Wolf, is back and better than ever. Torn between duty, protecting her "pack", and coming to terms with an organization that betrayed her, Sasha must solve the mystery of who has stolen a contagion that could annihilate the Wolf species. And all of this is further complicated by Sasha's resistance to be labeled a "mate", her need to remain independent and standby a lover who appears to be unable to control his wolf, all while trying to fight her attraction to rival clan alpha Shogun.
"Bite the Bullet", the second in the Crimson Moon series was a ride on the L.A. Banks' express. There were highs, lows, fights and chase scenes, romance and intrigue and everything that her fans have grown to love and expect. I can't wait until "Undead on Arrival" drops next year.
Bite the Bullet November 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Sasha Trudeau's life will never be as she knew it before finding out that she has Shadow wolf DNA in her genes... Demon-infected werewolf blood is still being sold on the black market. A double cross between species is in the offing. Brother will turn against brother as the infection spreads. Sasha must find the strength to mercifully eliminate the very real threat of her demon infected mate to her life as well as deduce who is selling the infected blood on the black market, and use her skills as a diplomat to defuse the threat of an all-out war between Shadow wolves and werewolves. As if these factors aren't enough, Sasha must also deal with the fact that her own body betrays her. When she goes into heat, will she stay true to her demon-infected mate, or give in to the temptation that Shogun represents?
