I feel in love with the SWEEP series from page one of "Book of Shadows". I have been devouring every book in the series since then. When I got this book, the 7th in the series, momentum was lost in the story. I was upset that Hunter was so into his work and not into Morgan. I felt like Morgan was acting so weak in the story; that she needed to woman up so to speak. Stop being so dependent. However, by the end of the book, I was extremely pleased the direction we were now heading. I loved all the things we learned about Morgan's origins and that she finally tapped into her inner strength by the end. I am currently reading Book 9 in the series (STRIFE) and I look back on this book and now see it was completely necessary for the wonderful things to come in the series. So if you feel the same as me when you read this book, have no fear, it will be worthwhile in the end, as great things are to come!
