Product Description
Not your typical boring diet book, this is a tart-tongued, no-holds-barred wakeup call to all women who want to be thin. With such blunt advice as, "Soda is liquid Satan" and "You are a total moron if you think the Atkins Diet will make you thin," it's a rallying cry for all savvy women to start eating healthy and looking radiant. Unlike standard diet books, it actually makes the reader laugh out loud with its truthful, smart-mouthed revelations. Behind all the attitude, however, there's solid guidance. Skinny Bitch espouses a healthful lifestyle that promotes whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, and encourages women to get excited about feeling "clean and pure and energized."

If your interest is becoming a vegan- go nuts. If not, don't waste your time! October 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Page 186 of this book will say it all- This is an agenda, not an insprirational weight loss book. It's full of arm twisting vegan preaching (and seriously, I have no problem with vegans), If I wanted to read about becoming a vegan, I would! Why be so misleading? Funny at times (thanks to my own crude humor) but mostly just a waste of my time. Tisk Tisk.
WOW! I was blind until I read this! October 13, 2008 So, I was home watching the Ellen show a while ago and saw two beautiful women on there promoting their book, Skinny Bitch. I had to buy it! In fact, I bought 3; 1 for me, 1 for my mom, 1 for my sister. I had often thought about how crappy I felt all of the time and really needed to figure out what could make me feel better as well as lose a few extra pounds. Well, this book told me everything I was doing wrong! I was a faithful coffee drinker, junk food, meat eating naive person, until I read this book. It has changed the way I look at everything I put into my body. I have quit drinking coffee and soda and began drinking green tea and tons of water. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies and very low amounts of meat. Chapter six is about animal cruelty and is really tough to read, but if you can get through it, it will change you forever! I can't believe what society has done to us all. This book is unquestionably worth the few bucks I spent on it. FYI- Some pretty bad language, but it does get their point across.
You Can't Argue with this Logic October 11, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you are GENUINELY ready to lose weight or get healthy, you will love this book. This book is hilarious, and is written in a satirical girl-talk language that is designed to work on the insecure (but powerful) psychology of women. Especially self-loathing women. I bought the book 2 days ago, and I've already lost 5 pounds! This is 99% water and poo (there's a whole chapter on poo), but it's a start. They explain nutrition in an easy-to-digest (no pun intended) way that is relevent to young women. Loved it!!

Opens your eyes to what they put in food products and why you can't lose weight without knowing.

I still have not received the item and it has been over a month. About 10 days ago I notified the seller and they did reply but had I not sent them a message I would have never heard from them. For all I know the item had been lost in the mail. I am very dissatisfied with the whole thing. I should have bought it from Amazon rather than an independant seller.
