Product Description
The greatest superpower of all isn't to be part spider, part man, or to cast magic spells--the greatest power is the power to create. Daniel X has that power. Daniel's secret abilities -- like being able to manipulate objects and animals with his mind or to recreate himself in any shape he chooses -- have helped him survive. But Daniel doesn't have a normal life. He is the protector of the earth, the Alien Hunter, with a mission beyond what anyone's imagining. From the day that his parents were brutally murdered before of his very eyes, Daniel has used his unique gifts to hunt down their assassin. Finally, with the help of The List, bequeathed to him in his parents' dying breath, he is closing in on the killer. Now, on his own, he vows to take on his father's mission--and to take vengeance in the process.

Seocnd Worst Patterson Book. August 18, 2008 Can you believe that this is written by the same man who came up with Maximum Ride? That was the first James Patterson book I read, and every successive novel has been progressively more shoddy. The dialog in this book takes the cake. It Feels like I'm trying to read a poorly written fan-fic based on a B-movie. Avoid, unless you want a laugh (in the "so bad, it's good" sense.)
The Worst of James Patterson August 17, 2008 I have read just about James Patterson's books and didn't expect what I would find when I read the first few pages of this book. I taught 9 and 10 year-olds for many years and at first thought I had a book they would enjoy, but now I am not sure they would like it. This book reads like an elementary students attempt to write a story for class.
Unexpected! August 17, 2008 I'm not a fan of Sci-Fi, but I became one after reading this book. James Patterson has never disapointed me.
THE DANGEROUS DAYS OF DANIEL X August 17, 2008 I am a huge James Patterson fan and cannot believe he wrote this book. It is so unlike his writings and is a complicated, uninteresting story of aliens. I have not read very much of the book and will never finish it. It is more sci-fi without a story. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

#1 I did not read this #2 I will not read this #3 A Heroes Knock-Off Cover - Gimme a Break
I got here via Reading about Kindle. And seeing the cover. And reading the slighty lengthier reviewer there.
Heroes.
Heroes.
Why bother.
