Product Description In the town of Hawkins Hollow, it's called The Seven. Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys-Caleb, Fox, and Gage-went on a camping trip to The Pagan Stone. And twenty-one years later, it will end in a showdown between evil and the boys who have become men-and the women who love them.

Excellent Collection July 8, 2008 I love this series thus far. Blood Brothers and The Hollow, in my opinion are one of the best series that I have read, I am an avid Nora Roberts fan and I own everything she has ever written, I love it and cannot wait for the third to be released in November
Really bad July 4, 2008 Totally boring book. This is a romance novel, not a horror one. Keep away from it.
Great story July 3, 2008 This is a first time read for me of Nora Roberts, but I enjoyed the book very much and look forward to reading the newxt to come out.
Tedious Spawn of a Harlequin Romance and Stephen King's Castoffs June 16, 2008 To be fair, I have never read Nora Roberts nor been interested in this genre. I (stupidly) bought this book for a beach trip because it was listed under amazon's Beach Reads. What a mistake. I gritted my teeth through to the end only after reading everything else in the house - including my kids' books - and being desperate for something to read.
The characters are irritating, one-note, stereotyped bores - I care only a little for the 3 'men', and not at all for the 3 'women'. There is no character development at all. The pacing is inconsistent. The plot is a mishmash of every romance and paranormal cliche you can think of - tied together messily with only a lackluster attempt to keep up with the various arcs. The sex is so trite as to be laughable.
I feel like Nora Roberts tossed this off in about 3 days, relying on her fandom to buy whatever crap she turns out at this point. I see some reviews here stating that this is not her best work - for the sake of her fandom I hope that's true.
If you love this stuff, then I can't really say whether you'd like this book or not. If you are NOT coming here a a Nora Roberts / Spooky Bodice-Ripper fan, then I advise you to look elsewhere. This is tedious plodding poorly plotted crap without even the benefit of tight writing or interesting characters to make it worthwhile.
Below Par June 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The background of the boys and their brotherly behavior is very well written and believable. The remainder of the story is so beyond belief it is almost laughable. If the author was someone other than Roberts, this book perhaps would not be in print let alone a triology. I am a fan and have all of her books with the exception of the "in deaths". I gave up on them after the third book because they are unbelievable, repetitive and futuristic claptrap. But I do so love Rourk.
