Great SCI FI book September 22, 2008 This is the latest book following the adventures of the Confederation Marines. This book was almost as good as the first book but was way better the middle books. It is worth your money.
Better than before! September 19, 2008 The last in the series, was good, but if I had read it in advance I would have waited to buy until the paperback came out, (or sniped it on e-bay) This book was more to my liking. I don't do spoilers, but the characters are more mature, more believable, and I can't wait for the next one!
Good But More of the Same September 11, 2008 Ok so we are up to the fourth book in the series, set in the future where our main characters interacts with other intergalactic species. The first book in the series is great.
This book has good action, humor and a fun read. However, there is a lack of growth overall in the series, in that by the time we get from page one to page 350, we really do not know all that much more about the strange new alien species, that has been troubling our main character since book 2.
Don't get me wrong I enjoy the series, but books 2,3, and 4 have felt a little too similiar in that we have our character interacting with the alien species ("Big Yellow") but it has not gone to the next level.
great finish September 1, 2008 This is a good finish to a good series. Although, the series could continue with adventures outside of the service. Not quite the caliber of the others but very readable.
A great Valor addition September 1, 2008 Huff finally returns to the Valor series after leaving it alone for far too long. The two newest additions to the series flow smoothly from the first two, despite the time gap between writing them. Trial prooves to be just as action filled as the previous books, and fully as enjoyable.
