Joan McBreen, the extraordinary poet, turns a much needed spotlight on Irish women poets. They have been absurdly second-classed by the literati, but no more. Thanks to this serious, compelling volume, the full grandeur of Irish literature comes into focus. A book that bears reading, and re-reading.
