Elementary Statistics:Picturing the world v.IV October 6, 2008 Item was shipped within a reasonable period of time. Item was in good condition as described by seller.
Excellent book! August 10, 2008 Excellent book! This is an easy to follow textbook for elementary statistics. There are a lot of examples and a lot of exercise to practice what you learned in the examples. I didn't purchase the student study pack, but several students in my class did and it really helped a lot.
NEVER RECEIVED July 7, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered the book in plenty of time to submit my first assignment. The book never came. It's been more than 30 days. I emailed the seller at least 4 times. "Jodge" responded only once, saying the book was "mailed on the 6th". I asked for a tracking number, how it was shipped and from where and received nothing. Amazon has not given the best service with this transaction either. I have contacted them 5 or 6 times and still have not received a $62.99 credit for the book (which I paid for a month ago). I have filed a claim, but they make you wait way too long to file it, saying the book could take up to 30 days to arrive. That's ridiculous! I can't wait 30 days to turn in my assignments! I had to drop my class two weeks into it. I didn't have a book, I never even got to log on other than to introduce myself to the class and explain to the instructor why I couldn't even look at the assignments. I got way too far behind in a class that everyone encouraged me NOT to attempt online. I dropped the class, but not before I paid $175 to the college, NON-REFUNDABLE. This has also put me behind a semester towards my degree completion. Try putting a dollar value on your time!
i got screwed ! They did not have the item! January 26, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered the textbook on a Tuesday. Friday, I go to check my e-mail, and the seller stated that he had to refund the money because he didn't have the item in stock. So, you would think that sucks. I'll go and check to see if there are any others online. Then i go to check the item has increased from 55 to 80...I WAS PISSED! I needed the book and needed to save money. I then had to spend $100 on the book. I WOULD NOT recommend this vendor at all!

Excellent book - the student study pack is essential if you are purchasing this book. Really helpful for assignments, minilabs and exam prep.
