Great Short Story October 5, 2008 This is a great story by Ms. Moning. It gives me hope that there will be more books in the Highlander series!
It wasn't all just a dream September 15, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Into the Dreaming is a small(its a bit surprising) novel about a highlander named Aedan MacKinnon who was decieved by the dark Unseelie king. Aedan spends five hundred years in the land of shadow and ice, there he was trained by the Unseelie king to be Vengence. Part of the agreement they had was that the MacKinnons would be safe and that Aedan after his sentence is served could go back to Dun Haakon.
Jane Sillee is completely in love with Aedan, her mysterious sexy highlander from her dreams. She recieves a brilliantly woven tapestry sporting the spitting image of Aedan. She is sent back in time to save him and break the spell the Unseelie king has on him. Can she make Aedan remember her and who he is?
This book was an extremely fast read, but enjoyable none the less. This is the second time I have read it(I like to re-read things)and it has been awhile since the first time. You cant help but feel for Aedan, he truly is a lovable character.
Its a sneak peek. August 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Those of you unfamiliar with Karen Marie Moning may be disappointed and pout when you realize that this book is a bit of a novella. Personally, I am always sad when her books end because I have to wait for the next one. I don't feel that this book is a disappointment at all. It is a gentle transition into the Fae series and without this little installment, how will you understand where the Seelie Queen is being held prisoner??? Read it and consider it a sneak peek or a bridge between those delicious McKeltars in Scotland and Mac in Ireland.
Not worth it August 12, 2008 The book was so small it wasn't worth the time it took to open it.
Into the Dreaming July 8, 2008 I just can't get enough of Karen's books. She does a wonderful job. The only problem with this book is that I wish it would have been longer. :-)
