Product Description Transcendent Dreaming: Stepping into Our Human Potential by Christina Donnell, Ph.D., chronicles a series of dreams that, much to the author's surprise, revealed within her a capacity for prophecy, clairvoyance, stepping out of time, materialization, and ultimately, a state of oneness with all creation. These faculties of expanded consciousness, she proposes, lie dormant in humankind, ready to be awakened. Through example, the book invites readers to access their infinite nature by delving into their own dream experiences. In the process, it eases their transition from identifying with the individual self to identifying with the underlying intelligence pervading the universe. This blueprint for a transcendent humanity guides us toward a future of inner peace, joy, and wonderment independent of external circumstances.

A new perception November 6, 2008 Dreams fascinate people. Where dreams come from, what they are, and the entire process of dreaming have intrigued researchers and the general populace for centuries. In this easy-to-read new book, Dr. Christina Donnell invites the reader to explore the realm of dreaming from a new perspective - as a blueprint, a process, towards becoming a fully-aware, multi-sensory, transcendent human being. Alternating between personal experience and narrative, Dr. Donnell guides the reader towards big, deep questions about humanity and its possibilities: who are we, as a species, becoming? What are we capable of? What are the next steps in the evolution of human consciousness? And how can we become transcendent humans? Donnell invites the reader to reconsider the medium of dreaming as a practice-ground for transcendent, multi-dimensional skills, and as a workspace for connecting to people in a new way. Let us hope that this engaging and thought-provoking read is the first of many from this exciting new voice. Recommended for library collections with a focus on the metaphysical, dreaming, or spirituality.
Must Read for those who are interested in what we are really capable of! September 13, 2008 Ms. Donnell has demonstrated through her experience that we can make Quantum Leaps and bring back language for the experience. This little book is in no way small with it's message of truly reaching "our own" human potential -which is eons beyond what we thought and were taught it could be. Thank you!

"Transcendent Dreaming" by Christina Donnell is a powerful and intriguing book about the powers that might lie dormant in many of us, yet we never even think about possessing them and/or exploring them. Those of us who have been raised in the Western world very often tend do be more into "doing" than into "being," and any kind of "inner voice" talking to us is looked at suspiciously.
Ms. Donnell's background in martial arts, Zen meditation, studies of the South America's indigenous Q'ero medicine people, a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and her two decades of work experience in her chosen field mark her as somebody open to different ideas and willing to learn. It is her journey that, described through a series of ten dreams, seems to be the culmination of all her learning and acceptance of new ideas and experiences. Through a series of dreaming experiences Ms. Donnell evolved into somebody extremely in touch with herself as well as the entire universe. She discovered her abilities to step out of time, to materialize elsewhere; she had prophetic dreams, developed clairvoyant and healing skills and more. This was by no means an easy or always pleasant journey, and I have to admit that I feel utmost admiration for Ms. Donnell's persistence in spite of some truly scary-sounding periods of complete detachment from the world surrounding her.
This deceptively slim volume packs quite a punch. Ms. Donnell's stories are impactful and written in a fluid, smooth style, which never gets too technical for a reader to enjoy. Although those experiences might sound far-fetched to many people, I believe it would be helpful to everybody if we would be willing to be open to new ideas and insights; especially positive and healing ones such as those described within "Transcendent Dreaming." Read this book with an open mind and you might discover a path to more joy, inner peace and contentment.
