Excellent inside information November 23, 2008
I was very impressed with Mr. Moyer's ability to reframe the college admissions process from the institution's point of view. His 'behind the scenes' look really changes the way high school students and their parents should approach the entire process, in a way that confers the power of knowledge to the applicant. Even top students can improve their chances of admission to the most prestigious and competitive universities by following his advice, and all students will increase potential scholarship offerings to the college of their choice. Why wouldn't you give yourself the best chance possible for such an important decision?

Mr. Moyer really does a terrific job giving practical and easy advice on steps to improve one's chances to get into the school of their choice. Too little too late for me but at least my son can take advantage of this.

Getting into colleges has become incredibly competitive. My daughter has great grades and is involved in many after school activities. We are finding out that there are tens of thousands of 4.0's and student leaders. I never thought I would have to script a strategic marketing plan for my own daughter in order to get college admissions to consider her. This book has improved our chances of "going IVY" by giving us a closer look at the admission process through their eyes. After reading this book we are changing our approach to the entire admission process.

Thank you, Mike Moyer. My nephew is exactly the kid you describe - average grades, average at sports, little in the way of academics to distinguish him. This book gives me hope that he can get into a good college. The actionable advice and insider information is great. Now it is just a matter of getting him to read it!
