This is an excellent textbook for the beginning digital artist. The digital medium is fast becoming the medium of choice for commercial artists ranging from cover creators for books & magazines to motion picture animators as well as everything in between. Ron Miller gives an illustrated overview of what has gone before in the realm of digital art through expectations on what the future holds. He encourages the artist to dream big and explains the tools that can used to make those dreams come true.
