This is not a how to book this is an in depth instruction manual. Don't buy if your looking to shoot better photo's. Buy if your looking to learn how to set up you camera and what all the features are. Read this in combination with Dummies Guide to the D90 and felt they both had great info. Would recommend to first time Nikon DSLR owners.

Well written. Easy to read. Very good book. I'd say use this book as your primary reference and the Nikon Owner's Manual a secondary manual or "quick guide". Good additional info included in the book also. I highly recommend this book if you are a new D90 user/owner.

You've read Nikon's own manual on the D90, you've purchased a couple of "How To" DVDs and you're still not maxing out on all the camera's features. Welcome to David Busch's D90 guide! It's all here and written to understand and enjoy. You'll love your D90 even more when you absorb this wonderful effort by Busch.

Very good book with great detailed pictures of the camera and detailed explanations. Much better than the manual that came with the camera.
