| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description "Anastasia", the first book of the Ringing Cedars Series, tells the story of entrepreneur Vladimir Megre's trade trip to the Siberian taiga in 1995, where he witnessed incredible spiritual phenomena connected with sacred 'ringing cedar' trees. He spent three days with a woman named Anastasia who shared with him her unique outlook on subjects as diverse as gardening, child-rearing, healing, Nature, sexuality, religion and more. This wilderness experience transformed Vladimir so deeply that he abandoned his commercial plans and, penniless, went to Moscow to fulfil Anastasia's request and write a book about the spiritual insights she so generously shared with him. True to her promise this life-changing book, once written, has become an international best-seller and has touched hearts of millions of people world-wide.

MUST READ - inspiration, life changing, brilliant March 17, 2010 B. Spencer (South Australia) This is the wonderful story or let's say biographie of Anastasia and her life, her tuning in with Mother Nature, unity with the animals, forest, plants, everything, everyone .... unity and insight pure. Enjoy the journey - once you start you will want to read all 9 books. Thank you to Anastasia. / B
Anastasia March 12, 2010 Deborah Harrington (fredericksburg, Texas) This was a surprisingly beautiful read. I think about it all the time when I look at the beauty of nature and the infinite possibilities that are right in front of us everywhere.
the books are good March 9, 2010 E. Elena (silver spring, MD) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm finishing my last book and already ordered the 10th one.
People are crazy :) they concentrate so much on whether Anastasia exists or not and miss the main points in the books. I don't think it's relevant whether Anastasia exists, although I do believe she does.
The books truly give you a sense of love and world understanding. Many people here have written negative reviews about the book just because they don't believe a person in the wilderness can have her own animals, like we have cats or dogs. These people concentrate on the most insignificant stuff....oh, this and this is impossible. Well, who cares. The main point of the books is that you have to grow your own garden, you have to start caring for the environment more, you should be in the co-existence with the planet, etc. And those are the points that no one can dispute. These book make you get it and also help you get back on track in life....And they sure are very successful...many people in Russia and across Europe and even US have built their own eco villages and are moving towards sustainable living! Even Medvedev has addressed this question about land.
These books are not a waste of time :)but everyone has to read what's interesting to them, good luck.
The value of eastern eropean thinking February 10, 2010 Michael Raymond Lloyd (mutxamel, Alicante, ES) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book whilst written in a near novel form contains many of the Russian alternative ideas and myths, its great vertue is that the book has collected in one place ideas which otherwise would only be found widely scattered. The writing style is bumpy especially in the early chapters, it almost seems as if the author was compelled to put his collection of ideas and and experiances into written form so as to make them available to a wide public, and had to learn on the job. None the less it is well worth the affort to continue reading.
Essential reading for creating a world that works January 27, 2010 D. deus 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Reading this book is the beginning of an amazing adventure and could change the entire future of your family and the world.
The series as a whole contains the most fundamental knowledge that is so important to our development. The concept of the kinsdomain is a key idea. How many of us have lived in or are living in buildings that are investments rather than homes? What level of barbarity have we sunk to that we consider our 'homes' as mere financial investments or how about renting. What a joke. These books will help you realise what a hell we have created in the industrialised world. The total insanity and pathetic ignorance of our so called 'civilisation' and how we can make the world into a beautiful paradise as it is meant to be. Things as they are and have been are such a shocking nightmare you will want to take concrete steps to make the changes your children deserve. Those that say these books are unbelievable are wrong. What is unbelievable is that we could have sunk so low.
