5 out of 5 stars An excellent primer to online marketing. Great Value for $11   March 7, 2010

I purchased Frank's Cold Calling Is A Waste of Time and found it to be excellent. I have stayed on his mailing list for over four years, so when I received his email to lunch this book, I immediately purchased.

Frank has very successfully used online marketing to brand himself. This book will tell you how he did it. If you are looking to brand yourself online (as opposed to sell a product or a company), then this book is for you. Frank has been there and done it, unlike a lot of the other pretenders selling ebooks and such.

The only criticism I have is that he is saving his best stuff for his $500 course, where he presumably gives you all of the details. For $11 though, this book has a lot of very useful information. You can't lose.

It would be a pretty good book for someone just getting into the sales field.
The book did not have anything in it that I had not heard or did is sales.
It would be pretty good for a good sales manager to get to use as a guide from time to time.
The book was pretty much worth the money.

I have read the first 11 chapters and am very happy with it. It has given me a whole new perspective as to what anyone can do. I can see how with practice and a plan anyone can be a self made (insert your dream here) best selling or best anything using the methods in this book. The sky really is the limit.I will have to get my "platform" and build my dream. Got to get going I am on my way.

5 out of 5 stars An Excellent Reality-Based Internet Marketing Primer   December 8, 2009

As a marketing and public relations consultant, I find myself explaining internet marketing to marketing newbies on a regular basis. From now on, I'll just be telling them, "buy Frank Rumbauskas' book" instead. A veteran Internet marketer, Frank has distilled the most common Internet marketing tactics into one understandable, easy-to-read guidebook. It's a perfect introduction for old-school, offline marketers, as well as those small business owners and entrepreneurs who don't have a marketing pro on staff. A lot of so-called "gurus" would sell this same information for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. But Frank has assembled a comprehensive Internet marketing overview that anyone can afford. If you have traditional marketing and public relations expertise, The Never Cold Call Again Online Playbook: The Definitive Guide to Internet Marketing Success will help you transition your skills into the online marketing world. In fact, the book is most useful if you have some marketing experience or background: Frank tells you how to accomplish certain things, but it will take some strategic thinking to know when and why to implement various tactics. Nevertheless, even a beginning marketeer will find a wealth of useful information in "The Never Cold Call Again Online Playbook: The Definitive Guide to Internet Marketing Success." Highly recommended.
